A counter-store experiment at the edge of the city, where the counter was smaller than the ambition.

    Grand Opening

    Lanzhou Xinda Store opened in 2015 as a slim counter inside Xinda shopping centre — our most compact store design.

    First Customer

    A noodle-shop owner bought a silver comb for her daughter's wedding and ordered a matching one for herself.

  3. 2018

    The Noodle District

    The store became a landmark in the noodle district; office workers came in on lunch breaks to browse.

  4. 2021

    The Quiet Years

    After the Zhangye Road store closed, Xinda carried the Lanzhou flag alone — bravely, but thinly.

  5. 2023

    Handing Over

    We closed in 2023 and donated the counter's stock to a local craft school's silversmithing course.
